Dana Aerial Yoga - We will combine the traditional Hatha and Vinyasa yoga practices of fluid movements of the body and breath but now move up into the air! Elements of acrobatics and silk work will be learned but Dana Aerial Yoga is more yogic than acrobatic. We will have a lot of fun playing in the air but the traditional yoga benefits of improving our tolerance, concentration, and mindfulness will be our main objective. Pranayama and chakra meditation exercises will be incorporated into the classes.
Aerial Vinyasa Tango - This new kind of yoga allows for a deeper understanding of ones axis as it relates to tango. The support of the hammock encourages you to safely play with your weight and will help you to increase your flexibility, strength and also improve your sense of tango equilibrium (boleos, ganchos, off axis colgadas and volcadas, lifts and suspensions will all improve).
